Thank You To All Our Guests At Patriot Lobby Day And Our Open Carry Picnic

On Tuesday September 13, 2011 patriots from around the state converged on the Capitol in Madison to welcome back our legislators for the fall legislative session.  Patriots from The Rock River Patriots, WI 9/12 group, Uninfringed Liberty, Sauk County TEA Party, and other groups were represented. We want to thank Rep. Scott Suder, Rep. Evan Wynn, Rep. Joe Knilans, Rep. Dean Knutson, Rep. Steve Nass, Rep. Jeff Fitzgerald, Sen. Frank Lasee, Sen. Pam Galloway, Sen. Neal Kedzie, Sen. Scott Fitzgerald, and all the other legislators who met with us today to talk about our the fall legislative agenda and issues that are of great importance to us. Below are some pictures from our gathering at the capitol rotunda from 11:30 – 1:30 pm.  The usual Marxists and Socialists were there singing, shouting, and being disruptive as they do virtually every day.  As part of the “Silent Majority” we stood around the rotunda with our Gadsden flags.  The “singers” were very agitated because we were there silent virtually the whole time excluding a couple times when several patriots tried to explain why we were there.  It became obvious quickly that the “signers” had no interest in reason or discussion.  Instead, their…

Concealed Carry Legislation A Victory For Tea Party, Patriot Groups

From Media Trackers: Concealed Carry Legislation A Victory For Tea Party, Patriot Groups By Collin Roth Of all the legislation passed in the last session of the Wisconsin legislature, perhaps no bill showed more the Tea Party impact on Republican legislators than the concealed carry legislation passed Tuesday in the Assembly. For a number of years, Second Amendment conservatives chafed at being one of only two states in the country that do not have some form of concealed carry. And despite two vetoes by Democratic Governor Jim Doyle, a tumultuous legislative session primarily focused on the budget, and the threat of recall elections for six state senators, Tea Party conservatives kept the pressure on to bring concealed carry legislation to a vote in this session. Annette Olson of the pro-2nd Amendment organization Un-infringed Liberty called the passage of concealed carry legislation yesterday a “huge step.” Olson said her organization allied with Tea Party groups from around the state to work with legislators in order to bring concealed carry legislation to a vote before the end of this legislative session. And while Olson and many Tea Party activists were disappointed when the Constitutional Carry Bill proposed by Senator Pam Galloway was…

The Budget Repair Bill and Concealed Carry

The Wisconsin Supreme Court overturned Judge Sumi’s ruling on the collective bargaining law. Dane County Liberal Activist Judge Maryann Sumi Usurped The Power Of The Legislature Say Justices The Wisconsin State Senate passed SB-93 – Concealed Carry in a 25-8 vote. While it is not Constitutional Carry like we want, it is a step in the right direction.  Thank your Senator if he/she voted in favor of this bill.  Tell them we will continue to push for Constitutional Carry, but appreciate the big step forward that they took. Our focus now moves to the Assembly.  Contact your Assembly representatives and tell them to pass SB-93 as is with no further restrictions on your natural right to keep and bear arms.  This bill is already a significant compromise from Constitutional Carry.

SB-93 Concealed Carry Amendments – More Restrictions – We said It would Happen

Tomorrow,  the  Wisconsin State Senate will be debating SB-93 and the 16 Amendments to this bill.  The proposed Amendments are MORE restrictions to a Constitutional Right.  We support Constitutional Carry because the right to keep and bear arms is a natural right.  We will continue to support and fight for Constitutional Carry. We also knew this permit process is a slippery slope to more regulation.  RINO Senator Van Wanggaard is one of those proposing more restrictions on our right to keep and bear arms.  Remember this when he is up for re-election.  This is further proof that just because the person is  “Republican” does not mean they believe in fidelity to the Constitution. Contact the Republican Senators and tell them not to further infringe on your natural rights. Here is the NRA criticisms of these amendments and responding to the misinformation: PPA NRA Position on Hostile Amendments PPA Opponent Misinformation

NRA Calls Out Milwaukee “Conservative” Radio Talk Show Hosts

U.N. Small Arms Treaty – Pay Attention Gun Owners

U.N. Agreement Should Have All Gun Owners Up In Arms We have talked at length about this before and have genuine reasons to be concerned.  If the U.S. Senate ever ratifies this treaty, we will be in real trouble. It is fair to say that it will lead to a Constitutional Crisis, and possibly a civil war.  Wisconsin residents have Constitutional protections both in the 2nd Amendment and in the WI Constitution Article I Section 25.  I could never imagine gun owners voluntarily giving up their guns nor most law enforcement officers going door to door to confiscate weapons. However, this is another reason not to have a database of those who carry concealed.  It is a list that will be used if this small arms treaty is ever ratified. I can already hear the shouts by gun owners.  The words echo the phrase made famous by the Spartan King Leonidas…“MOLON LABE – Come and Take Them!”

Patriots Meeting This Friday May 13th and The Republican Game

CONFIRMATION:  The meeting this Friday May 13th will be held at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson located at 209 Merchants Avenue at 6pm.  It will be an interesting meeting! CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY UPDATE – THE REPUBLICAN GAME…I have just been informed that Constitutional Carry is a DEAD ISSUE.  It will NEVER be introduced in the Assembly and there will be NO VOTE in the Senate no matter what we do.  Our two other leaders from RRP were in Madison today at the Capitol and got the word directly.  THIS IS A DISGRACE!  The Republican Leadership has been stringing us along on this bill and had no intention of ever allowing it to happen.  After all the work the TEA Party / Patriot / 2nd Amendment groups have done, this is how we are treated?  We are not even being given the opportunity for the bill to be debated on the floor in the Senate or Assembly!  It is time to call your representative and the leadership in the Assembly and Senate and express how DISGUSTED you are. VOTER ID UPDATE:  REAL ID is still in the bill that they will be voting on tomorrow.
