On April 5th, 2016…Vote for Freedom!  Which candidates will make you more free?  Who will obey their sworn oath to uphold the Constitution and not be an activist?  Who will do what is right and not be in the pocket of special interest groups?  Who will try to move Wisconsin backward and undo all of the reforms that have been put in place? The choice is yours…choose wisely!

At our last meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from WI Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley, Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Randy Koschnick, and Paul Nehlen a primary challenger to Paul Ryan’s Congressional Seat.  We would like to extend a special thanks to our guests!

The Rock River Patriots will be meeting in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library this Friday April 1st  at 5:00 pm.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. NOTE: This is not an April Fools day joke!  We have changed our meeting date in order to accommodate our special guest speaker, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley.   Justice Bradley is running for re-election this spring to the Wisconsin Supreme Court against Wisconsin Appellate Court Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg. Following Justice Bradley’s remarks, Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Randy Koschnick will speak on the Constitution. We hope to see you all there!

The meaning of Easter – What does it mean to you? The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ’s victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all. However, Easter did not always symbolize Christ’s resurrection from the dead and the meaning of Easter was quite different than what Christians celebrate today. The feast day of Easter was originally a pagan celebration of renewal and rebirth. Celebrated in the early spring, it honored the pagan Saxon goddess Eastre. This is in response to Rep. Jim Steineke’s Open Letter To Trump Supporters.  Rep. Jim Steineke, Representative of the 5th Assembly District is the Majority Leader of the Wisconsin State Assembly. You can read his letter here: An Open Letter To Donald Trump Supporters #NeverTrump The Response Jim Steineke’s open letter to Trump supporters is interesting to say the least.  I do not involve myself in Facebook, but I have a comment to Steineke’s open letter.     My comment to Steineke is yes, we worked hard to elect more Republicans and the thanks we get is that his name seems to be absent from the co-sponsor list for AB 305 (The Baby Body Parts Bill).  This bill has been held in the committee which he chairs, (Rules Committee) since it was referred there 9/10/15.  Maybe he should be careful throwing rocks at other candidates when he himself lives in a glass house.  Is this the conduct of a ‘conservative’ Republican assemblyman or is he just following orders from Speaker Robin Vos and refusing to bring the bill to the floor for a vote because Vos says there aren’t the votes to pass it excuse.  We all know there are the…

ROCK RIVER PATRIOTS ARE HAVING A MEETING THIS FRIDAY FEBRUARY 12TH AT 6:00 PM IN FORT ATKINSON AT THE DWIGHT FOSTER LIBRARY LOCATED AT 209 MERCHANTS AVE.  At this meeting, we welcome State Sen. Steve Nass, who will update us on all that is happening in the closing weeks of this legislative session.   NOTE: TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!! The Countdown is on on Wisconsin’s Baby Body Parts Bill!!!   We need one final statewide push to get Assembly Bill 305/Senate Bill 260 – The Baby Body Parts Bill – scheduled for a final floor vote in the State Assembly and the State Senate….and then it is on to Governor Walker for his signature. The highly paid pro-abortion lobbyists are working the hallways hard in our State Capitol and you need to counter them with your voice for truth and Life.  If you don’t already realize it, there is A LOT of $$ riding on this bill…$$ that will fund this fall’s campaigns to pay for the literature mailed to your home and the endless TV commercials and bothersome robo-calls….and how much $$ will be passed under the table??? We want to take this time to wish you a very Merry Christmas.  Many people like to think about all the gifts and celebrations that happen on this holiday. It is very easy to let yourself get lost in all of the festivities.
