Standing on Constitution, Businessman Aims to Depose Paul Ryan If you have been paying attention, many in the so-called “conservative” media have come out against Paul Nehlen, trying to take him down.  We have consistently said that the Rock River Patriots do not endorse candidates, but we will call candidates out when they don’t live up to their promises. Isn’t it funny how many of these “conservative” voices, who claim to be independent and non-establishment, are once again acting as lap dogs and doing the bidding of the big government Republicans?  They tout Paul Ryan’s conservative credentials, yet fail to mention he supported TARP, the bank bailouts, the Patriot  Act, and budgets that are anything but fiscally responsible.  Paul Ryan is credited as being this “budget architect” proposing budget plans that “really cut spending” over a 10 – 20 year window.  Paul Ryan is laughing at his naive supporters, knowing full well that future Congresses will not be held to his budget proposals. Rebellion…..it’s happening In just a few days we will be celebrating the 4th of July holiday.  To those who might not recall, especially the youth, it’s also known as “Independence Day” which commemorates our independence from England in 1776 after a long and bloody war.  A war by all odds the colonists should have lost. This usually festive holiday seems to have a pall hovering over it as concern for our republic continues to escalate.  Our country, once the greatest in the world, is staggering under terribly defective and divisive Federal bureaucracies.  Regularly there are increasing incidents which run contrary to our basic rights.   Fifty middle school students from N. Carolina visited the 9/11 Memorial in New York.  As a choir they began to sing our National Anthem to the delight of other visitors. Immediately a security guard stopped their beautiful performance. It was considered a public demonstration and therefore forbidden! In Murfreesboro, Tennessee ten students between the ages of 6 & 10 were taken from the school in handcuffs because a video had shown them watching an off-campus scuffle…

It should be no surprise to anyone following us that we were one of the groups targeted by the IRS.  Brian Sikma at Media Trackers writes about the story here.  You can see the enemies list here. What is amazing is that virtually no local media has even contacted the RRP for any comment about the story, or even covered the story.  I think this is just another example of the bias we see in the local and national media.  They seek to control the flow of information and content as it suits their agenda.  Take notice at how much coverage you see in local media about some questionable environmental cause.  A handful of people get together to whine about something and the media is there to hype the non-story. The government targeting individual groups because of their political views IS A STORY!  No matter your political affiliation, it should scare you to death…if you have a conscience (I know that excludes many on the left).  This is the kind of thing you see in the 3rd world, not a first world nation like the United States.  Sadly, many will choose to look at the issue of this being about…

Donald Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee for President of the United States?  The GOP’s chickens have come home to roost. It is definitely an interesting time when we see that Donald Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee for President of the United States.  Many “so-called conservative” pundits are now continuing with the Never Trump mantra. It’s important to examine how and why this has happened.  The two big government parties have no one to blame but themselves. TEA Party conservatives, libertarians, and constitutionalists already know that the Progressives are really just big government loving socialists and communists. There is little explanation that needs to be said here about the Democratic Party. Most understand that the Democratic Party is run by radical leftists with an ideology that is anathema to our Constitutional Republic.  They really don’t figure into the Trump equation. Many conservatives and libertarians in the Tea Party / Patriot movement got involved because they were angry with the status quo of the Republican Party.
