OPPOSE LRB-0312/1: Eliminating personal conviction exemption from immunizations

There is currently a proposal being circulated in the WI state legislature that would take away the rights of parents to refuse vaccines based on personal convictions. It has support from both Democrats and Republicans. Legislators are asking other legislators to sign onto this proposal before it becomes a bill. The more support it has the faster it will move through the legislature.

Everyone wants to turn this into a debate about vaccines (which it’s not…make your own decision on vaccination).  HOWEVER…this is a wolf in sheep’s clothing

This is 100% a parental rights issue.

WHY???

1. Parents should have the rights to choose the best care for their children without having the government forcibly take over. This bill sets the precedent that the GOVERNMENT now gets control over the heath of your child.

2. Some would say…”They are still keeping the religious exemption so what’s the big deal?” This is another distraction from what is actually happening. The GOVERNMENT is setting the precedent that it gets to control the heath of your child against your will.

3. Setting this precedent is not small issue. It will only grow.  Lawmakers will be opening the door to change other laws.  Maybe in the future they will determine how you school your child. What must be taught to your child. Where you child has to go to school. Other healthcare choices for your child, especially if they aren’t deemed viable, or useful to society. (Look to other countries in Europe who already have taken away parents rights on all of the above issues)

Contact your state Assembly person and State Senator immediately!  Tell them you are staunchly opposed to LRB-0312/1: Eliminating personal conviction exemption from immunizations.  This bill is authored by Representatives Hintz, Vorpagel, Kolste, Brostoff, Myers and Riemer and Sen. Carpenter.

SPREAD THE WORD: TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!! WE NEED EVERYONE TO HELP ON THIS!

ROBIN VOS IS A SNAKE!!!

If you are Pro-Life and truly want to see government reform, call Robin Vos’ office and demand they pass the Baby Body Parts bill this session.  Tell him we don’t need new taxes and increased spending on roads.
Republican State Representative Andre Jacque tells Media Trackers that he has been stripped of his Assembly committee chairmanships by Speaker Robin Vos as punishment for holding a hearing on prevailing wage reform legislation in the Labor Committee this past legislative session. A news release issued by Vos’ office Wednesday afternoon showed that Jacque was the only committee chair not to retain a chairmanship for the next session.”
It was also because Rep. Jacque was going to bring up the Baby Body Parts bill again this session.  So much for a Republican being Pro-Life!  Where are all the supposed Pro-Life groups demanding that the Baby Body Parts Bill is passed this session by Vos?
Call Robin Vos and demand the baby body parts bill is passed this session.  Demand that Rep. Jacque is restored to his committee Chairmanship.  Demand no new taxes for roads.

Rock River Patriots Meeting This Friday February 12th

ROCK RIVER PATRIOTS ARE HAVING A MEETING THIS FRIDAY FEBRUARY 12TH AT 6:00 PM IN FORT ATKINSON AT THE DWIGHT FOSTER LIBRARY LOCATED AT 209 MERCHANTS AVE.  At this meeting, we welcome State Sen. Steve Nass, who will update us on all that is happening in the closing weeks of this legislative session.

NOTE: TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!! The Countdown is on on Wisconsin’s Baby Body Parts Bill!!!

We need one final statewide push to get Assembly Bill 305/Senate Bill 260 – The Baby Body Parts Bill – scheduled for a final floor vote in the State Assembly and the State Senate….and then it is on to Governor Walker for his signature.
The highly paid pro-abortion lobbyists are working the hallways hard in our State Capitol and you need to counter them with your voice for truth and Life.  If you don’t already realize it, there is A LOT of $$ riding on this bill…$$ that will fund this fall’s campaigns to pay for the literature mailed to your home and the endless TV commercials and bothersome robo-calls….and how much $$ will be passed under the table???
The Legislature will wrap up its activities by the end of February according to news reports and they are hoping to run out the clock on this bill.
It’s time to put Speaker Robin Vos and Senator Scott Fitzgerald on notice that Wisconsin’s Pro-Life Movement is tired of their constant lies.

Tell them to put the bill on the calendar and take the vote.
Let’s Do the Math.  Only 50 votes are needed to pass the bill out of the State Assembly and move it to the State Senate. There are 42 Assembly Co-Sponsors on the bill right now. Only 8 more “Yes” votes needed.  (There is an overall total of 63 Republicans in the state Assembly.)
Below are 21 Republican state representatives that are not currently listed as co-sponsors.  They need to hear from you immediately about how vital it is they VOTE YES on AB 305.
Once you are finished with this list, be sure to contact your own legislators through the Legislative Hotline at 1-800-362-9472.
Please forward this list to all your friends and family.

WI Patriot Groups To Gov. Walker – Do NOT Implement WI Obamacare Exchange!!!

Here is the link to one of the press releases on the implementation of a WI healthcare exchange by Gov. Walker.

An Open Letter to Governor Scott Walker

From WI 9/12 Project: Help Assemblyman Kevin Petersen Learn

From Wisconsin 9/12 Project’s Website:

Just a little while ago, after already posting an article today on Kevin Petersen’s Obamacare-compliance fetish, someone brought the following video to my attention. It rather hilariously deals with the same theme…and proposes that we all do something about this wayward legislative soul.

Kevin Petersen is the author of AB 210. He’s the one foolishly using scare tactics and shouting, “COMPLY!” I’d say that opens things up for taxpayers and freedom lovers from all over the state to reply.

This is one noble project in which I fully intend to participate.

I hope you’ll join me in helping Kevin Petersen to learn.

Elected officials in Wisconsin need to know that the idea of compliance with Obamacare shouldn’t even be crossing their minds, much less their lips or their typing fingers. And, frankly, it’s up to we, the PEOPLE, to ensure that they stay on the straight and narrow.  If we don’t speak up, expect legislators to go off the constitutional path pretty much every single time.

Let’s train this misguided Republican legislator up right!

NOTE: To access the document, you can click here, use the link in the description of the video on YouTube, or just type it into your browser.  But don’t employ capital letters as the link appears within the video.  That actually results in a bit.ly error.

Thank You Gov. Walker for FINALLY Turning Down Early Innovator Grant Money

Governor Walker issued the following press release late yesterday afternoon.  Thanks to all of you who sent in your strings, and those of you who coordinated the effort.

Madison—Today Governor Walker announced he will not pursue the implementation of a health insurance exchange and has turned down Early Innovator Grant funding from the federal government. The Governor also will repeal the executive order that created the Office of Free Market Health Care.

“I have directed the Department of Health Services to notify the federal government that we will discontinue any development on a health exchange and that Wisconsin will turn down funding from the Early Innovator Grant program,” said Governor Walker. “Stopping the encroachment of ObamaCare in our state, which has the potential to have a devastating impact on Wisconsin’s economy, is a top priority. Wisconsin has been a leader and innovator in health care reform for two decades, and we have achieved a high level of health insurance coverage without federal mandates. When job creators and Wisconsin families are facing difficult times it doesn’t make sense to commit to a federal health care mandate that will result in hidden taxes for Wisconsin families, increased health care costs and insurance premiums, and more uncertainty in the private sector.”

Governor Walker will sign Executive Order 57 into law, which repeals the executive order that established the Office of Free Market Health Care.

It would be great if many people would contact his office via email or phone call to thank him for this stand he has taken against this unconstitutional federal encroachment of power.   govgeneral@wisconsin.gov   (608) 266-1212
