U.S. Boots on the Ground in Libya, Pentagon Confirms I will say it again as I have many times in the past.  The Rock River Patriots believe in FIDELITY to the Constitution.  It is  precisely because of not adhering to the Constitution that allows for actions like another undeclared war in Libya.  We have an impotent Congress who is sitting by doing nothing about this. Trading freedom for security is always a bad idea.  The results are always the same…more State power, and less individual security and freedom.  It also takes us one step closer to a totalitarian regime.

September 13th is a BIG DAY! The Wisconsin State Legislative Session begins…  Please join members of the conservative grassroots from across the state in: Welcoming all legislators back to session Assuring them we’re minding business as it unfolds in our State Capitol Encouraging them to stand on constitutional principle Planned events  9:00am to 10:45am, 2nd Floor Hearing Room, North Wing  Initial gathering and opportunity to hear from state legislators who have a record of defending the principles of freedom:   9:30am Assemblyman Evan Wynn (R, Dist 43)  9:45am Assemblyman Dean Knudson (Dist 30) 10:00am            Senator Glenn Grothman (R, Dist 20) 10:15am            Senator Frank Lasee (R, Dist 1) 10:30am            Senator Pam Galloway (R, Dist 29)  Other legislators may also join us and/or speak as they’re able.  10:50am to 11:10am, Corridor outside 411 South  Greet Republican senators as they head into caucus  Without blocking the corridor, we’ll quietly and respectfully display patriotic signs and flags as Republican senators assemble for caucus. The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday September 9th in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library at 6pm.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Ave in Fort Atkinson. At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives including the Open Carry Picnic and Lobby Day in Madison at the Capitol.  We will also have a presentation by Marv Munyon on “Globalism and the New World Order”. We want to take this opportunity to thank Senator Scott Fitzgerald for taking some time to speak with us at our past meeting.  We know that with all the events of this past year, things have been very hectic.  With the recent recall elections and changes in the State Senate, Senator Fitzgerald has been very busy.  I think it is safe to say, we all learned something new. Actually I do think silver and gold will rise. They are totally screwing with the precious metals market. They are running a total scam. Not only are they short selling silver and gold but, they are going to make a killing on it, use those proceeds to buy the real deal, and then make ownership of it illegal. That will be, along with the confiscation of property, the final criminal stealing of all wealth. They are, as of right now, selling gold on the futures market @ just less than $10,000 for a reserve purchase of 100 ounces of gold. Yep, for approximately $9,500 in cash you can purchase 100 ounces of gold. NOT physical ownership of gold but a reserve amount of 100 ounces held in a sort of ETF set up. Are you kidding? Why did gold give back over $100 per ounce in one day? Because they raised the risk of purchase, another words, they raised…

We keep hearing the mantra that Ron Paul is unelectable.  A new Gallup Poll says otherwise: Obama in Close Race Against Romney, Perry, Bachmann, Paul Ron Paul is within two points of Obama even with much of the mainstream media trying to ignore him.  Based on the angst by the Republican Party, it is clear the only candidate who would not perpetuate the status quo is Ron Paul.  The rest of the pack seems like a continuation of the G.W. Bush presidency. Ron Paul has been very clear on his positions for a long time…following the Constitution.  What is so admirable is the fact that even when his positions may not be have been popular, Dr. Paul did not try to change them based on a poll.  He stood on principle.  Standing on principle is what the real TEA Party is all about, contrary to what some in the co-opted Republican version of the TEA Party would have you believe. The more we compromise on principle, the more slippery the slope gets.  We are on the brink of a total financial collapse with hyperinflation and “1984” is here. The only road out of this can be found in 2 Chronicles…

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting on Friday August 26th at 6pm in the community room at The Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue in Fort Atkinson. At this meeting, we will discuss current events and initiatives.  We will discuss the recall elections and look toward the fall legislative session.  We plan to have one of our WI State Senators at our meeting to discuss the current situation in Madison, and the plans for the fall legislative session.
