Ron Paul Can’t Win?

We keep hearing the mantra that Ron Paul is unelectable.  A new Gallup Poll says otherwise: Obama in Close Race Against Romney, Perry, Bachmann, Paul

Ron Paul is within two points of Obama even with much of the mainstream media trying to ignore him.  Based on the angst by the Republican Party, it is clear the only candidate who would not perpetuate the status quo is Ron Paul.  The rest of the pack seems like a continuation of the G.W. Bush presidency.

Ron Paul has been very clear on his positions for a long time…following the Constitution.  What is so admirable is the fact that even when his positions may not be have been popular, Dr. Paul did not try to change them based on a poll.  He stood on principle.  Standing on principle is what the real TEA Party is all about, contrary to what some in the co-opted Republican version of the TEA Party would have you believe.

The more we compromise on principle, the more slippery the slope gets.  We are on the brink of a total financial collapse with hyperinflation and “1984” is here.

The only road out of this can be found in 2 Chronicles 2:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

If we do as this passage says, we will automatically return to the principles that made this nation great.
