On behalf of the Rock River Patriots, I want to thank you for all you have done this past year. It has been very “eventful” to say the least. As we look ahead to the upcoming year, we see there is much to be done. It is an opportunity to keep Wisconsin on the right track. Pray for our leaders and our state. However, with all that needs to be done, it is easy to forget about the “true meaning” of Christmas. Why is it so important in the first place? We continually hear the cliche that “the true meaning of Christmas is about giving.” Yes, it is the season to be giving, but there is more to the story. The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of God’s gift to mankind. God sent his son, Jesus Christ to provide a means of salvation to a fallen people. Only by accepting God’s free gift of Jesus Christ, can we truly be free. Below is a very good article on State vs. Federal power. This applies to so many issues that are happening today and speaks to why we have an out-of-control federal government. This is also due, in part, to the national media. There is a vested interest by the national news media in having a strong central government. Not only does this increase the “importance” of their coverage, but also allows for easier coverage. Most of the media focus only needs to be spent in one place, Washington D.C, instead of the coverage being spread throughout the 50 State Capitals of our nation. The Framers set up our constitutional republic as a system having the power “decentralized”. Many of the most contentious issues like abortion, I believe, will never be solved on a national level. To truly solve these issues the States need to re-assert their sovereignty. Pro-Life advocates, for example, have a much better chance to stop abortion on a State level. As the article points out, if a person doesn’t like how their respective State is handling this issue, they can work to change it and/or “vote with their feet” to another State with whose laws they agree with….

The rule brought the state into compliance with provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA, aka Obamacare). While we’re still watching the situation carefully and awaiting the actual rescission, we thank and applaud Governor Walker for making an excellent first step in truly protecting the State of Wisconsin and its citizens against egregious federal overreach and beginning to restore greater integrity to the 26-state lawsuit challenging Obamacare’s constitutionality. However, the battle to protect Wisconsin in the healthcare arena is not yet over. Wisconsin has still not returned $49 million in federal Obamacare grant funds that it accepted in February. The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday December 9th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson. The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting, we will have our “year in review” discussing some of our accomplishments this year. We also welcome State Senator Frank Lasee to talk about his candidacy for U.S. Senate. This will be the last meeting of they year, and should not to be missed. Hope to see you all there!

This is the amount of money that the Federal Reserve has doled out to the major global banks from 2007 through 2010. Over 16 trillion! Trillion! Dollars……strike that, I mean Federal Reserve Notes. There was no vote, no public debate, simply a private corporation printing money the American taxpayer will be held accountable for, and handing it out to their global banking cartel friends. The global banking cartel now lends out that money to countries like Greece, Italy, Spain, etc. and creates a massive sovereign debt issue in those countries. Bottom line, those governments and countries are now beholden to the central banks. They are bought and paid for.
