The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday December 9th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson. The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue.
At this meeting, we will have our “year in review” discussing some of our accomplishments this year. We also welcome State Senator Frank Lasee to talk about his candidacy for U.S. Senate. This will be the last meeting of they year, and should not to be missed.

The question is changing Wisconsin mining laws, which assures that that the enviroment is protected. It appears that Jeff Fitzgerald is pushing legislation that makes it easier for out of state strip miners to rape the enviroment and then leave WI with billions of dollars. There is no question that the mine WILL happen. The question is: Will the enviroment be protected…
It turns out the bill being pushed in the assembly was writen by the mining company. I trust NRA to help write bills, they don’t profit by their input, but a southern strip mining company???????
I hope they don’t waste too much time to get the bill passed. However, I don’t know that the mining company wrote the bill exclusively. BTW Jerry…did you know that one of the only ways to get at some of the raw materials needed for you guys (man made climate change believers) to drive around in a Prius is by strip mining? Very interesting dilemma…
