The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting in Johnson Creek at the Comfort Suites at 6:00pm on September 12th. The Comfort Suites are located at 725 Paradise Ln in Johnson Creek, WI (located just west of the Johnson Creek Outlet Mall). At this meeting we welcome author and columnist Dr. Greg Evensen as our special guest speaker. Dr. Evensen will be speaking about “America Under Siege”. About Dr. Evensen Dr. Greg Evensen is an award winning Kansas State Trooper, has served in the US Army, was a Kansas Marshal, educator, author, professional vocalist, former national radio host, and is the CEO of Risk Assessment Consultants, LLC. Greg earned his doctorate in Criminal Justice in 1980, with a dissertation entitled “Security in America: Are we secure?” He also authored “The Sovereignty Papers” which is a recorded compilation of his essays, “Watching from the Ramparts,” a teaching historical overview, recorded two inspirational vocal CD’s, “Hymns from the Heartland” and “After the Storm.” Greg has hosted numerous events and has been a featured speaker for patriotic conferences across our nation. Most recently he hosted “A Patriot’s Field of Dreams” in Jefferson City, Missouri. We hope to see you all there.

The Rock River Patriots are meeting on Friday February 14th at 6:00 pm in the Community Room at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson. The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting we will discuss current events, initiatives, and anticipate receiving a legislative update from one of our representatives. We welcome Pastor Matt Trewhella from Missionaries to the Preborn, to speak about the Lesser Magistrate Doctrine.

We recognize this is slightly dated, but still believe there is a need to set the record straight. On June 20, 2012, the Daily Jefferson County Union published an article by Kevin Murphy entitled, “No added prison for Fort man“. This article reports on a Fort Atkinson man who was on probation for possession of an explosive device and recently charged/convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm. In the article (attached), the Rock River Patriots are mentioned because this individual supposedly attended one of our meetings. Is this a deliberate attempt to smear the RRP using a classic “guilt by association” tactic? We think it may be just that. As anyone who attends our meetings can tell you, they are all open to the public. Many people have come and gone since the group formed several years ago. We have a core group of regular attendees and many others who attend sporadically. None of the leaders in the RRP recognize this person. The RRP were never contacted by the writer of this story for comment either. About “J.C.” Author and speaker “J.C.” was born in Kurdistan, in northern Iraq. As a child, he witnessed the violence of the government of Baghdad practiced against his people when his elder brother’s lifeless body was brought back to his parents. His experience with socialist dictatorship formed his political conscience. During the Gulf War, “J.C.” was forced to flee Iraq not once, but twice and eventually came to America as a political asylee. “J.C.” grew up as a Muslim, adhering to the practices of the Sunni division of Islam. Judge acquits Hutaree militia members of conspiracy charges We have posted about this incident in the past because it is important to understand what our government is doing. We have also questioned the evidence in this case. The judge obviously saw there was not enough evidence and dismissed the charges. David Stone Jr. and his son plead guilty to illegal weapons charges. We are looking into the details of those charges.
