The Dangers of vouchers…Trump’s voucher plan. Below is a link to a 38 minute podcast on vouchers and their danger by KrisAnne Hall, lawyer and Constitutional advocate. There is a full all out push coming and it will be led by DeVos. If successful it will accomplish putting parents under control of federal gov. This will increase money spent by the feds on education from $540,000,000 to $130 billion ($20B from the feds and $110B from the states) if the Trump plan is implemented. This will be a mechanism of control of all parents/children under the poverty level if they sign on to new voucher programs. This just a reminder that there is NO ROCK RIVER PATRIOTS MEETING tomorrow, December 9th. We had the Rock River Patriots meeting one week early to accommodate the many Christmas celebrations. See you in the new year!
Due to all of the Christmas festivities, the Rock River Patriots will be a having the December meeting a week early, on Friday December 2nd at 6:00pm instead of December 9th. We will continue to meet in the community room at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson. The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting we will briefly discuss current issues, and then enjoy a time of fellowship with a Christmas potluck. We will supply the main course, so please bring a dish to pass. We have consistently said that the Rock River Patriots do not endorse candidates, but we will call candidates out when they don’t live up to their promises. Isn’t it funny how many of these “conservative” voices, who claim to be independent and non-establishment, are once again acting as lap dogs and doing the bidding of the big government Republicans? They tout Paul Ryan’s conservative credentials, yet fail to mention he supported TARP, the bank bailouts, the Patriot Act, and budgets that are anything but fiscally responsible. Paul Ryan is credited as being this “budget architect” proposing budget plans that “really cut spending” over a 10 – 20 year window. Paul Ryan is laughing at his naive supporters, knowing full well that future Congresses will not be held to his budget proposals. Just remember…Don’t trust something at face value just because you hear it…

It should be no surprise to anyone following us that we were one of the groups targeted by the IRS. Brian Sikma at Media Trackers writes about the story here. You can see the enemies list here. What is amazing is that virtually no local media has even contacted the RRP for any comment about the story, or even covered the story. I think this is just another example of the bias we see in the local and national media. They seek to control the flow of information and content as it suits their agenda. Take notice at how much coverage you see in local media about some questionable environmental cause. A handful of people get together to whine about something and the media is there to hype the non-story. The government targeting individual groups because of their political views IS A STORY! No matter your political affiliation, it should scare you to death…if you have a conscience (I know that excludes many on the left).
