Are We Repeating History?
Dr. David Kaiser History Unfolding I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus. Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two. We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why? We learned just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has “loaned” two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over…
Senator Feingold was in Whitewater at the University this past Friday for another one of his “listening sessions”. Being that it was scheduled on Friday afternoon at 2:45pm, many in the audience were leftist professors and students. No shock there. However, some patriots did make their presence known asking about the constitutionality of federal healthcare programs. Here are links to the stories: TV 27 Madison Video of Feingold Whitewater Listening Session Janesville Press Gazette Story On Feingold Whitewater Listening Session Jefferson County Daily Union Story On Feingold Whitewater Listening Session The much bigger story is the fact that on a liberal college campus there were only 100 people attending the listening session. This is supposed the be “home court” for the Leftists, Socialists, and Communists. You would think the liberals would be coming out of the woodwork. Instead, only an estimated 100 people (probably less) were there, some being the opposition to “Obamacare”. It seems like the tide is turning!
We added a new page intended for Patriots to post their “Letters of Outrage”. This can be outrage directed in the form of Letters to the Editor of the local paper, or letters to the elected officials at any level of government. This is a great way to draw attention to something that is not being covered by the media, and/or encourage others to get involved. Click on the upper tab entitled “Letters of Outrage” and post your letter in the comments box. Let the outrage roll! We look forward to reading the letters!
Russ Feingold Listening Session In Whitewater Friday February 26th
U.S. Senator Russ Feingold will hold a listening session in Walworth County on Friday, February 26. His Walworth County listening session will be held at 2:45 p.m. in the Timmerman Auditorium (HH1000) in Hyland Hall at UW-Whitewater, 800 West Main Street, Whitewater. The meeting will last up to an hour. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan’s words: Since we can’t make him see the light, let’s make him feel the heat!
Bill O’Reilly – No Conservative Here
Here is a clip with Bill O’Reilly interviewing Stewart Rhodes from Oath Keepers. Listen to O’Reilly justify the unconstitutional confiscation of firearms after Hurricane Katrina. This is more proof that O’Reilly is no conservative. This is by no means anything new, but needs to be brought to light. The exact purpose of having a firearm IS to defend yourself against tyranny in whatever form that comes your way. A declared “state of emergency” does not change the 2nd Amendment. Support John McCain’s Opponent J.D. Hayworth
While the Rock River Patriots do not endorse candidates… It is time for everyone to rise up and support J.D. Hayworth for U.S. Senate in Arizona against John McCain! We have a chance to get rid of that fraud! He is once again showing his true colors. This month John McCain introduced legislation to allow the FDA to regulate nutritional supplements. This legislation also repeals key sections of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act. This is another way to take away the power of the people to treat themselves using vitamins and minerals. It is not about safety. It is about CONTROL!!! This will eventually lead to the implementation of the Codex Alimentarius. Why is this bad? Watch this and decide for yourselves. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhON1WN48tQ]

Patriots…Here Is Something To Think About
A Warning To The Tea Party Nation ——————————————————————————– By Chuck Baldwin ——————————————————————————– The Covenant News ~ February 12, 2010 ——————————————————————————– As far as grassroots activism goes, the surge in Tea Parties across America is one of the more encouraging developments to recently take place. It reminds me of the “Conservative Revolution” of 1994, when the GOP reclaimed both the US Senate and House of Representatives. At that time, it had been over 40 years since the Republican Party controlled both the US House and Senate. And, between the two, the House victories were the most significant. Spurred mostly by the election of Bill Clinton in 1992, a host of young, energetic freshman Republicans marched into Washington, D.C., determined to return a burgeoning and out-of-control federal leviathan to the constitutional precepts of limited government. I’m talking about then-freshman House members such as Helen Chenoweth, Steve Largent, Bob Barr, Joe Scarborough, Sonny Bono, John Shadegg, J.C. Watts, etc. These young conservatives went to Washington, D.C., determined to reduce the growth and size of the federal government. The vehicle used to transport these young conservatives from grassroots activism to US House and Senate seats was the highly touted “Contract with America” (CWA), which…
