The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday May 14th at Kendall Packaging in Jefferson at 6pm. Kendall Packaging is located at 707 N. Parkway Street in Jefferson. At this meeting we will discuss current events, the world financial meltdown, and how this relates to the United States. In light of the current world economic situation, we will hear from a guest speaker on emergency preparedness. We look forward to seeing you all there!

This is very interesting…And scary. The Hutaree militia from Michigan sound like they may be a bunch of “nuts” that should be watched, but there is one problem. It seems like the only thing they did is “talk” about killing police. It appears there was no move to actually do anything, be it planning or training for an such an event, based on the information that has been released. Why is this so bad? These nine are still being held in custody without bail for what appears to be a “thought crime”. This is a step we cannot afford to take, no matter how we feel about what they said. The Constitution still applies. If they have more evidence, I would like to see it. Read the stories linked below and make your own determination. It seems as though even the judge is not convinced. And why would the Feds teach these guys how to make bombs if they were concerned about what they might do? The National Day Of Prayer, normally held on May 6th, was recently recently declared unconstitutional by US District Judge Barbara Crabb. The Rock River Patriots will be hosting a time of prayer in the front of the Jefferson County Courthouse at 320 S. Main Street in Jefferson on May 6th at 6:30pm to pray for our country. We will have several speakers who will talk briefly about the National Day of Prayer before we join together to pray for our country and our leaders. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. This fact does not change no matter what ruling is handed down by Judge Crabb. As patriots fighting against the government stripping away our rights and liberties, we must never forget that our rights come from God. Our founding fathers understood this. There will be a meeting this Friday April 23rd at Kendall Packaging in Jefferson located at 707 N. Parkway St at 6pm. This week we will discuss current issues and hear a presentation on Saul Alinsky, the community organizer who wrote the book “Rules for Radicals”. It should be an informative meeting.
