Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday June 22nd

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting at 6pm this Friday June 22nd at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Ave. At this meeting, we welcome back author of the book, “Miracles in the Mountains” to continue his presentation on Islam.  “J.C.” will briefly review some of the key points from his last presentation, and continue on sharing new material.  This is a presentation you do not want to miss! Here is a brief history of “J.C.” : Author and speaker “J. C.” is an American Kurd who was born in Kurdistan, in northern Iraq. As a child, he witnessed the violence of the government of Baghdad practiced against his people when his elder brother’s lifeless body was brought back to his parents. His experience with socialist dictatorship formed his political conscience. During the Gulf War, “J.C.” was forced to flee Iraq not once, but twice and eventually came to America as a political asylee. “J. C.” grew up as a Muslim, adhering to the practices of the Sunni division of Islam. The teachings of Islam influenced and molded his theological thinking, but never took a hold of…

Green Tier is a voluntary program that recognizes and rewards environmental performance that exceeds legal requirements resulting in continuous improvement in Wisconsin’s environment, economy, and quality of life. Since its inception in 2004, the Green Tier program has been providing real benefits to businesses by allowing the Department the regulatory flexibility for companies to pursue creative ways to enhance productivity and profitability. “This program has produced enhanced, voluntary collaboration with businesses to yield environmental and economic gains aligned with their business plan as opposed to prescribing inefficient and burdensome actions that impede a productive business model,” said Governor Scott Walker. “The next step is to increase program participation.” Due to the high degree of expertise needed in order to comply with the program’s requirements, not all businesses are able to take advantage of its unique offerings. Neal Boortz “Commencement Address”

What a great offering to not only any graduate but to all of us…. Neal Boortz is a Texan, a lawyer, a Texas Aggie (Texas A&M) graduate, and a nationally syndicated talk show host from Atlanta.  This was not a real commencement address, but rather a “phoney” address that Neal wrote as a sort of protest that he has not been invited to give a commencement address.  Special thanks to one of our members for pointing this out to us.  Nevertheless, it would make a great speech at any graduation. “I am honored by the invitation to address you on this August occasion. It’s about time. Be warned, however, that I am not here to impress you; you’ll have enough smoke blown up your bloomers today. And you can bet your tassels I’m not here to impress the faculty and administration. You may not like much of what I have to say, and that’s fine. You will remember it though. Especially after about 10 years out there in the real world. This, it goes without saying, does not apply to those of you who will seek your careers and your fortunes as government employees. This gowned gaggle behind me is…

Republicans Win All But One Recall Race…Reports of Voting Irregularities In Racine

In all but one recall race in Wisconsin, the Republicans achieved a decisive victory.  The races that were supposed to be very close, were called very early in the night for Gov. Walker, Lt. Gov. Kleefisch, Sen. Fitzgerald, Sen. Moulton, and newly elected Jerry Petrowski.  The Racine race is too close to call with Democrat challenger having a lead of approximately 800 votes over Sen. Van Wanggaard with reports of widespread voting irregularities. The reports of voting irregularities are now coming in, including a Detroit Unions busing in Michigan union members  to vote in the WI recall election.  Below are two such stories. This Memorial Day, Freedom Is Dying Before Our Very Eyes

By Judge Andrew Napolitano What if Memorial Day reminds us of times when we had more freedom? What if freedom is dying right under our eyes? What if the memory of the past is more fulfilling than the reality of the present? What if the federal government could write any law, regulate any behavior and tax any event, no matter what the Constitution authorized? What if the majority in Congress rejects the idea of limited government and views the Constitution as granting it blanket power to do whatever it can get away with? What if the constitutional prohibition on the government’s taking of life, liberty or property without due process of law is only for show and is not for real? What if the House of Representatives seriously considered letting the military lock up whatever Americans the president ordered the troops to arrest, without charges filed or lawyers present or a judge presiding? What if the House seriously debated this idea of indefinite military detention of Americans in America and actually voted in favor of it? What if this unconstitutional monstrosity becomes the law and your right to due process depends on whether you remain with the majority, stay silent…

Chuck Baldwin – Update On NDAA And Drones Flying Over The US

In a stunning upset for the Obama administration and big-government zealots in general, a federal judge in New York has issued an injunction against the citizen detention portion of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Bob Unruh at World Net Daily has the story. “A district-court judge has suspended enforcement of a law that could strip U.S. citizens of their civil rights and allow indefinite detention of individuals President Obama believes to be in support of terror. “The Obama administration has refused to ensure that the First Amendment rights of authors and writers who express contrary positions or report on terror group activities are protected under his new National Defense Authorization Act. “Targeted in the stunning ruling from U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest of New York was Paragraph 1021 of the NDAA, which Obama signed into law last Dec. 31. The vague provision appears to allow for the suspension of civil rights for, and indefinite detention of, those individuals targeted by the president as being in support of terror. “Virginia already has passed a law that states it will not cooperate with such detentions, and several local jurisdictions have done the same. Arizona, Rhode Island, Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee and…

Vote Tomorrow / Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday May 11th

Just a reminder…make sure you get out to vote in the WI recall primary Tuesday May 8th.  Because this is a recall election, it is different from the other primaries.  In this primary you CAN CROSS THE TICKET to vote on both the Republican and Democrat sides of the ballot.  In regular primary elections you cannot do this.  However, you can still only vote once per elected office.  This means in the primary for governor, you must either vote on the Republican or Democrat side, not both. (NOTE: The following example is not an endorsement of any particular candidate.  The Rock River Patriots do not endorse candidates.) For example, if you choose to vote for Gov. Walker in the Republican recall primary, you may still vote in the Democrat primary for the recall candidate or their “fake” democrat opponents.  The “fake” democrat candidates for this area are Gary Ellerman, from Lake Mills, running against Lori Compass, who is the recall organizer for Sen. Scott Fitzgerald.  The “fake” democrat for the Lt. Governor recall primary is Issac Weix, running against Madison Firefighter’s Union president Mahlon Mitchel and Democrat Ira Robins. The winners from this primary will move on to the general…
