For those of you not paying attention, Judge Michael Screnock lost the Wisconsin Supreme Court election to Rebecca Dallet, a radical leftist. So who is really to blame? Of course the Republicans will whine about how much money was spent by the other side, and how they were out spent. While that may be true, it’s always the case. The conservative base was energized in the past by the Republican Party actually standing for something, fighting for their beliefs, and doing what they said. But what did we have this legislative session? Idiot Republicans proposing tax increases and toll roads. Idiot Republicans content with having power, and not doing anything with the power. Idiot Republicans obstructing good legislation from being passed. I don’t know how long we have to hear about them being worried about the next election cycle, afraid to do anything for fear of future losses. The reality is they ensure their future loss when they don’t continue fighting and passing legislation to undo all of the liberal democratic policies. On Holy Thursday, a story appeared on Drudge Report which stated that in private conversations, Pope Francis indicated there was “No Hell”.  As Pat Buchanan points out in his column, “Why then did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross?” In case you were not aware…The world didn’t come into being by a big explosion billions of years ago.  You are not here because of a series of mistakes millions of years ago in which life was somehow created violating every scientific law we know to be true.  Everything did not come from nothing. On the contrary, you are a unique creation by God with a purpose.  You are not an accident, but someone of significance.  After the Fall of Man, the world changed from it’s perfect state as did Adam and Eve.  Adam and Eve (and us) were created in God’s image, meaning they were eternal.  However they were no longer sinless, meaning they would die.  Because God is just, His plan included a place for the righteous (heaven) and for the wicked (hell) after they die.  Genesis 3 chronicles the Fall and God’s plan of redemption.  While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The Rock River Patriots are having a meeting this Friday March 9th,2018 at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library in the community room.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives.  There is a lot to discuss.  We hope to see you all there!

The spring primary is upon us.  Make sure you vote on Tuesday February 20th! In addition to local, county, and school board elections, the primary for the WI State Supreme Court is on the ballot. The only judicial conservative in the race is Sauk County Judge Michael Screnock. The other two candidates for WI State Supreme Court have signaled their intentions already on a variety of issues, looking to repeal many of the reforms that have gotten WI back on track. Vote and Choose Wisely!

There will be no Rock River Patriots meeting this Friday February 9th, 2018 due to the impending winter storm.  We are sorry for the inconvenience it may cause some, but many have expressed concerns about traveling in the bad weather. Hope to see you next month!

We want to take this time to wish you a very Merry Christmas.  Many people like to think about all the gifts and celebrations that happen on this holiday. It is very easy to let yourself get lost in all of the festivities. It is very easy to forget what this time is really all about. Christmas, however, does not have to do with the gifts that you did or did not get.  No matter how big or how small, those gifts cannot compare to God’s gift to humanity.  The gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is the greatest gift of all.  “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?” Mark 8:36 As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we encourage you to take a few minutes to contemplate what this means for us.  The Creator of the Universe desires a relationship with each and every one of us.  He proved his love for us despite our sinful condition by sending Jesus Christ to be the perfect sacrifice for sin in our place.  God, in essence, sacrificed a part of himself because he loved us so much. The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting on Friday December 8th, 2017.  At this meeting we will be having a Christmas dinner potluck and a time of fellowship to celebrate the Christmas season. In order to properly prepare for the dinner, we need to determine the number of people who will be attending. We will be watching a portion of the documentary A Good American, which details a groundbreaking surveillance program, the brilliant mastermind behind it and how a perfect alternative to mass surveillance was killed by NSA-management for money – three weeks prior to 9/11.
