The Rock River Patriots are meeting on Friday February 14th at 6:00 pm in the Community Room at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson. The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting we will discuss current events, initiatives, and anticipate receiving a legislative update from one of our representatives. We welcome Pastor Matt Trewhella from Missionaries to the Preborn, to speak about the Lesser Magistrate Doctrine.

As we have noted before, the ROCK RIVER PATRIOTS have been targeted by the IRS in our pursuit of tax exempt status. Having decided to withdraw our application after getting the run around, we are now faced with paying the taxes we owe. It is no suprise how much of a run around we have gotten while trying to get this cleared up. After having our application delayed by the IRS for over a year (close to a year and a half), we are now faced with all the interest and late fees which are almost as much as the taxes we were supposed to pay. Coincidentally, we filed our 2011 and 2012 taxes to the IRS as a pending tax exempt entity while waiting to hear about our status. Once again, this should be a wake-up call to everyone. It’s time to repeal the 16th Amendment and abolish the IRS. Why don’t we have any Republicans talking about this? At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives. We welcome Patrick Wyett, a contributor to the website Rapture Ready.com. Patrick will be discussing some of his personal experiences with Islam while working as a contractor in Kuwait. Here is a brief bio: Patrick Wyett and his wife Janet are a Christian couple currently living in Iowa who love Christ and this country. He too, has many concerns about the state of our nation. Patrick has taken to writing to get the message out of being ready spiritually with regard to the times that we live in. He has now written approx. a dozen articles for the Rapture Ready website. His writing is very to the point with a “no holds barred” style. When you meet him in person he is a very gracious , polite, and articulate individual. The Rock River Patriots want to wish you and your family a very happy New Year. We are in the process of determining our goals and plans for the next year. We ask for your thoughts and prayers as we look to do what God wants us to do in these coming days. We will continue to try to educate people on all that is happening. We are looking to see how we can best accomplish that goal. In the end, if we can only accomplish one thing, we hope that all the information and educational materials brings people into a knowledge and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday December 14th

An early Merry Christmas to all. The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday December 14th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library located at 209 Merchants Avenue. This is the only meeting we will have in December. At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives. We will discuss the spring elections and more. We have a lot of information to cover at this meeting and have at least one featured guest. We should have the DVD from Oconomowoc featuring Beverly Eakman talking about the playbook of the left and countering group manipulation. Those who are looking to get involved should consider running for school board. We would like to see several Patriots on the ballot for each of the school districts in Jefferson County. Remember, half of your taxes go to your local school district, so you have a vested interest in fiscal responsibility. The deadline for filing is January 2nd.
