At this meeting, we welcome back author of the book, “Miracles in the Mountains”.    “J.C.” will briefly review some of the key points from his last presentation, and continue on sharing new material on ISIS.  “J.C.” has a unique insight into the area, people, and culture as he spent most of his life in Northern Iraq.  This is a presentation you do not want to miss!

“J.C” will also be speaking on Saturday October 11th at the Church in the Barn in Fort Atkinson Wisconsin at 4:00 pm.  This material will be different from the material shared on Friday night.  Church in the Barn is located at W6789 Westphal Lane in Fort Atkinson, WI  53538.

Here is a brief history of “J.C.” :

Author and speaker “J. C.” is an American Kurd who was born in Kurdistan, in northern Iraq. As a child, he witnessed the violence of the government of Baghdad practiced against his people when his elder brother’s lifeless body was brought back to his parents. His experience with socialist dictatorship formed his political conscience. During the Gulf War, “J.C.” was forced to flee Iraq not once, but twice and eventually came to America as a political asylee.

“J. C.” grew up as a Muslim, adhering to the practices of the Sunni division of Islam. The teachings of Islam influenced and molded his theological thinking, but never took a hold of his spirit. Hence, as a teenager he began searching for an answer to the eternal questions of life.

“J. C.” lost his faith in religion and metaphysical answers after reading the “Origins of Species ” by Charles Darwin.  In the late 90’s, through “Operation Pacific Haven” on the part of the US government , “J. C”, was among a group of 4,000 Kurds who were airlifted to Guam and then to the U.S.A. Here he was exposed to the teachings of Christianity, and his life was radically changed.

In April 2003,  he initiated a mission work to reach out to all those who do not know Christ ,  sharing his personal experience with them.  Then in 2011, he launched an independent mission work “International Outreach Ministry” in an effort to continue the task  he began earlier in the past decade.

Besides the United States, “J. C.” had traveled overseas and spoken at hundreds of rallies and conferences about his life transformation, and his experience coming out of the Middle East.  He recently authored his memoir in a book titled “Miracles In The Mountains.”  In this book, you will read about the firsthand account of his amazing escape out of war torn Iraq after he was forced to flee into the mountains not once, but twice, eventually coming to America.

The Federalist Society is an organization dedicated to conservative issues in the law, among them, States’ Rights and the 10th Amendment.  Furthermore, he Chaired the Walworth County Republican Party before attending law school.  When Cody was Chair of the UW-Whitewater College Republicans, he hosted the first Tea Party events on campus.
We also welcome Usama Dakdok, author and radio host to speak on “The Truth About Islam”.  Usama Dakdok was born in Egypt and grew up in a Christian home. While in government schools in Egypt, he learned about Islam just as every other student does in a Muslim country. Usama also studied for a university degree in Egypt which included the study of Sharia, Islamic Law. He came to America in 1992. With all of his knowledge about Islam, he felt he could reach out to Muslim people in America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thus he began The Straight Way of Grace Ministry.
For over a decade Usama has traveled the country with a message, “Revealing the Truth about Islam,” not only to equip the church to minister to Muslims but also to warn Americans, especially the Church, about the deceptive methods being used by Muslims to lead so many Americans into the cult of Islam.Usama earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Missiology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of two important works. Because Arabic is his native language, he discovered that the commonly used English translations of the Qur’an were full of misrepresentations that minimized its violent teachings as written in the Arabic text. Therefore, his first project, The Generous Qur’an, is an accurate English translation with study notes and material to help Christians share the Gospel with Muslims. Second, Exposing the Truth about the Qur’an, the Revelation of Error is a two volume expose’ of the Qur’an and Muslim scholars.
Usama can be heard M-F at 12:30 CST on the broadcast network VCY America and online at He also broadcasts live online every Saturday from 9 pm-11 pm CST with “Revealing the Truth about Islam” on Blogtalk Radio’s “Radio Jihad.” Usama is featured on and Trinity Channel Network Television sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide with Muslims in English and Arabic.

Rock River Patriots Meeting This Friday December 13th, 2013

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday December 13th in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library at 6:00pm.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue.

At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives.  We welcome Patrick Wyett, a contributor to the website Rapture  Patrick will be discussing some of his personal experiences with Islam while working as a contractor in Kuwait.

Here is a brief bio:

Patrick Wyett and his wife Janet are a Christian couple currently living in Iowa who love Christ and this country. He too, has many concerns about the state of our nation.  Patrick has taken to writing to get the message out of being ready spiritually with regard to the times that we live in. He has now written approx. a dozen articles for the Rapture Ready website. His writing is very to the point with a “no holds barred” style. When you meet him in person he is a very gracious , polite, and articulate individual. Patrick has run for state Assembly in MO in a democratic controlled district, even though he did not win, he did well in the vote count. Patrick also served with a government contractor organization in Kuwait for four years and he knows the mindset of Islam and our government methods of operation. While in Kuwait , Patrick was able to speak with many Muslim individuals and learn their thinking first hand. Because of this first hand knowledge, he has a great understanding of their religious beliefs and is able to compare that with the teachings of Christianity and the Bible.
