The next meeting of the Rock River Patriots will be on Friday Dec. 11th starting at 6pm at Kendall Packaging in Jefferson located at 707 N. Parkway St.  We will talk about some current issues and things to watch out for including the codex alimentarius (a way for the gov’t to regulate vitamins and minerals). We are planning on having a conservative candidate forum at one of our January meetings where we can “grill” the conservative candidates about their beliefs, etc…Groups in the area please let me know if you would be interested in attending. This is from a NRA Alert…MORE ANTI-GUN LEGISLATION! Wisconsin: “Micro-stamping” and “Lost or Stolen” Legislation To Be Heard in Committee next Week! Please Contact the Committee Members! On Tuesday, December 1 at 11:00 A.M., the Wisconsin State Senate Judiciary Committee will consider two anti-gun bills, Senate Bill 174 and Senate Bill 367.  Both of these bills would infringe on rights of law-abiding gun owners and have no impact on crime. SB 174 would require micro-stamping technology on all newly manufactured handguns sold in Wisconsin.  If passed, the bill would require newly sold handguns to micro-stamp a unique code onto the cartridge case upon firing.  This unproven technology will increase the cost of firearms, potentially putting them out of reach to some consumers. However, since no manufacturer currently sell a firearm capable of micro-stamping a cartridge case, it will effectively ban new handguns in Wisconsin. In addition, criminals could easily remove the microscopic codes from the firearm using using any number of commonly-owned household tools.  This dangerous legislation needs to be defeated. SB 367 would require gun-owners to report lost or stolen firearms within a 48-hour period or face fines and possible imprisonment. If passed, this legislation could turn law-abiding gun owners –who have already been victimized by theft–into criminals  for failing to report the loss of theft of a firearm within the…

Ahmed Hisham Abed, a high level terrorist, was captured recently by a Navy SEAL Team.  Now three of the SEALs are being charged with abusing the terrorist because of statements made by the terrorist.  The SEALs charged are accused of punching him in the face and gut.  The terrorist’s injuries were “very severe”.  The injury he sustained… a BLOODY LIP!!! We are charging America’s Best and Brightest with crimes when the only injury sustained is a bloody lip?  Even without having all the evidence, this is an OUTRAGE!!!  The people who recommended that these SEALs be charged should be fired! Many have been critical of the rules of engagement that our troops are subjected to.  We cannot fight a politically correct war and expect to win.  We have allowed our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to  become impossible to win because of our own rules of engagement. It is no wonder the incidents of suicide are up in our military.  These brave men and women are not allowed to do the job they were trained to do because they always have to wonder if they will be brought up on charges while still putting their own lives at risk. Here is another example of why the Founding Fathers believed in limited Federal Government power.  There is wide spread fraud from the stimulus plan with money going to non-existent Congressional Districts, and inflated claims regarding job creation.  States can track things better because they are smaller entities. This is why we don’t trust our government.  Stories about militia groups are popping up all across this country.  I think this is one of the many reasons why.

The Dane County Board recently created a Regional Transit Authority (RTA) for the purpose of creating and operating a commuter rail line.  The arguments against this creation were obvious, but they did it anyway.  The Wisconsin 9/12 group and We The People Of The Republic were out in force trying to stop it, but the Dane County Board didn’t care. So what is the big deal?  This only will affect Dane County right?  Wrong!!!  The RTA will now seek to have other counties who “use” the rail lines included in the RTA, and be on the hook for a part of the cost.  That means another NEW TAX on all of us!  Tell all of your County Board Supervisors we do not want to be part of any RTA. On top of that sickening news, the feds are seeking to pass new laws for “safety oversight” of subways and light rail lines.  As with the rest of things done by the Federal Gov’t, now be prepared to see more bureaucracy, more mandates, more spending, and more waste.  Here is the link to the story:  Federal oversight of subways proposed

In light of the Fort Hood massacre, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano warns against a anti-Muslin backlash?  Here is the story: Homeland chief warns against anti-Muslim backlash What is this world coming to?  We need to acknowledge the problem and call it as it is!  These ideologues continue to warn us about a backlash.  Tell that to the families of all the people that died as a result of this Islamic Terrorist. Based on the facts, the feds knew this terrorist tried to contact Al-Quaida, but thought that he wasn’t a threat?  This is another example of a incompetent big government.  When government  can’t even do the job it is mandated to do, what makes all those bleeding hearts think they can “solve” the rest of the problems like health care!
