Thank You!

We extend a very special thank you to Senator Glen Grothman and Dr. Tim Nerenz for speaking at our last two meetings.  We learn something new every time we hear from you.  [slideshow] We also extend a special thank you to all of our members who worked the booth at the Jefferson County Fair and helped to make the booth a success.  Cutting through all of the lies / distortion / spin by educating the public is something that transcends the political parties. Consider the following quote from Joseph Stalin: “Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”  For far too long, we have let the Marxists / Globalists / Radical Environmentalists infuse the education system and media with their propaganda.  No More!

Rock River Patriots Meeting This Friday / Jefferson County Fair Booth

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library 209 Merchants Avenue at 6pm this Friday July 8th.  We will discuss current and upcoming events, as well as future educational initiatives. We also welcome Tim Nerenz to discuss a variety of topics with us.  Tim was a candidate for Congress, running against Tammy Baldwin, before having to withdraw from the race.  This will be a great opportunity to hear from a successful international businessman about how America can become great once again. For those of you who are not aware, we have a booth at the Jefferson County Fair this year.  The booth is located off of the walk in entrance on Puerner Street.  We are the third booth down on the north side of the road.  Please stop by and say hello.  We look forward to seeing all of you!

Dr. Tim Nerenz – Moment Of Clarity – Constitutional Carry

This is a great column by Libertarian Dr. Tim Nerenz from his website MOMENT OF CLARITY talking about Constitutional Carry: May 11, 2011 Constitutional Carry We had such high hopes in Wisconsin for this new Governor and this legislature. The coalition of conservatives, libertarians, and constitutionalists that turned out the liberals had a few priorities that we did not think would be difficult to achieve in short order, chief among them being removal of the unconstitutional restrictions on carrying firearms. We are not asking for much; only that law abiding citizens be afforded the same opportunities for self-defense that criminals have enjoyed in this state for decades. Criminals do not have to secure permits, endure training, buy licenses, or track ammo. Criminals are not subject to restrictions on the caliber, magazine size, or firing mechanism of their weapons. When criminals find themselves in need of a firearm for self-defense, they do not have to dial 911 and then wait for a police officer to show up with one. Criminals have no waiting period; no forms to fill out. We are only asking that non-criminals be afforded equal rights. The fact that oh-by-the-way concealed carry reduces violent crime is a bonus,…

A Moment Of Clarity With Dr. Tim Nerenz – Proficiency

The following column was written by Dr. Tim Nerenz at Moment Of Clarity.  Tim was the Libertarian candidate running against Tammy Baldwin in the last election cycle, before having to withdraw because he moved out of the district.  This column addresses outcome-based education and the fight in Madison to keep the status quo in place by all of the unions opposing the Budget Repair Bill.
