Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday September 12

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting in Johnson Creek at the Comfort Suites at 6:00pm on September 12th.  The Comfort Suites are located at 725 Paradise Ln in Johnson Creek, WI (located just west of the Johnson Creek Outlet Mall). At this meeting we welcome author and columnist Dr. Greg Evensen as our special guest speaker.  Dr. Evensen will be speaking about “America Under Siege”. About Dr. Evensen Dr. Greg Evensen is an award winning Kansas State Trooper, has served in the US Army, was a Kansas Marshal, educator, author, professional vocalist, former national radio host, and is the CEO of Risk Assessment Consultants, LLC. Greg earned his doctorate in Criminal Justice in 1980, with a dissertation entitled “Security in America: Are we secure?” He also authored “The Sovereignty Papers” which is a recorded compilation of his essays, “Watching from the Ramparts,” a teaching historical overview, recorded two inspirational vocal CD’s, “Hymns from the Heartland” and “After the Storm.” Greg has hosted numerous events and has been a featured speaker for patriotic conferences across our nation. Most recently he hosted “A Patriot’s Field of Dreams” in Jefferson City, Missouri. We hope to see you all there.

They made the mistake of suing two of their critics, Martin Mawyer and Patti Peirucci, for statements made in their book about the MOA titled, “Twilight in America.” Although the judge dismissed the lawsuit as baseless last week, some interesting information came out depositions conducted as part of the proceedings. The depositions revealed that MOA has a previously unknown property outside of Anchorage, Alaska. The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday August 8th at 6:00pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library Community Room.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Ave. At this meeting we will discuss current events, initiatives, and the upcoming primary elections.   We hope to see you all there!

Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday July 11th

We hope everyone had a great July 4th Holiday, and reflected of the spirit of Independence that made us a great nation! The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting in Fort Aktinson this Friday July 11th at 6:00pm.  We will be meeting in the community room of the Dwight Foster Library located at 209 Merchants Ave. At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives.  We we welcome two special guest speakers: We welcome Cody Horlacher, a candidate for the 33rd Assembly District.  Cody wanted to introduce himself and answer any questions we may have.  Cody is currently an Assistant District Attorney for Walworth County.  Cody graduated from Marquette Law School and UW-Whitewater Business School.  While at Marquette, Cody was on the board of the Federalist Society. The Federalist Society is an organization dedicated to conservative issues in the law, among them, States’ Rights and the 10th Amendment.  Furthermore, he Chaired the Walworth County Republican Party before attending law school.  When Cody was Chair of the UW-Whitewater College Republicans, he hosted the first Tea Party events on campus. Rock River Patriots Meetings for May & June

This is a notice regarding the May 9th & June 13th meetings.  Because of events happening at the Fort Atkinson library, we are changing the location of the May and June meetings to the Rock Lake Baptist Church in Lake Mills.  The address is 191 E Pine Street.  This is about 3 blocks from McDonalds.  They have an entrance on the back of the building.   As always, we will discuss current events and initiatives, and have something else that you will be interested in.

Vote Tomorrow April 1st!

This is going to be a very low turn-out election tomorrow, which means your vote matters that much more!  Research the candidates running…Check and see if they signed the Walker recall here: http://www.iverifytherecall.com/.  That should tell you where their sympathies lie, and it is not with the taxpayers. Vote for the candidates who represent the philosophy that government is best when it is small with limited power.  As government grows, freedom shrinks. Jefferson County Area Residents: There are several important referendum questions…There are school district referendums in Fort Atkinson and Johnson Creek (which means they want to spend money!), and one referendum in Lake Mills to change from to having a council/manager to a mayor/common council.  As over taxed as we all are, spending more money is never a good option.  VOTE NO! In the Jefferson County Circuit Court Branch 3 race former DA and current Judge David Wambach is being opposed by Joanne Miller, a Walker Recall signer.
