Rally in Madison, Wisconsin to Insist that Governor Doyle signs the Raw Milk Bill

This was forwarded from some friends for those of you interested in Natural Foods and Whole Foods…. Rally in Madison, Wisconsin to Insist that Governor Doyle signs the Raw Milk Bill Date: Tuesday – May 18, 2010 Time: 12:00pm – 3:00pm Location: Madison–Capitol steps, State Street corner Despite massive consumer & farmer support, and overwhelming passage of the “raw milk bill” in both the Senate and the Assembly, Governor Jim Doyle has been delaying on signing the raw milk bill. Initially he said he would sign the bill, but he waivered last week and said he was undecided. Now under immense pressure from corporate agri-business lobbyists, Doyle could veto the bill before Wednesday. Legalizing raw milk in Wisconsin will have ripple effects nationally, and the corporate milk processing monopolies are mobilizing all their resources to keep it illegal. It is up to us to stop the veto. We need all the moms, dads, kids, farmers, consumers, and concerned citizens to stand up. If you support family farmers and consumer choice for whole natural foods, the time to act is NOW! For more information, contact Bill Anderson 262-352-3300 See the press release at www.farmtoconsumer.org

Join Us To Pray For Our Country On May 6th

The National Day Of Prayer, normally held on May 6th, was recently recently declared unconstitutional by US District Judge Barbara Crabb. The Rock River Patriots will be hosting a time of prayer in the front of the Jefferson County Courthouse at 320 S. Main Street in Jefferson on May 6th at 6:30pm to pray for our country.  We will have several speakers who will talk briefly about the National Day of Prayer before we join together to pray for our country and our leaders.  Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles.  This fact does not change no matter what ruling is handed down by Judge Crabb. As patriots fighting against the government stripping away our rights and liberties, we must never forget that our rights come from God.  Our founding fathers understood this.  The following are two quotes from the founding fathers that illustrate this point: “It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great Nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religious, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here.” Patrick Henry 1776 “God who gave us life…

Why Was Charles Darwin Wrong?

NOTED GEOPHYSICIST, DR. JOHN BAUMGARDNER TO SPEAK ON UW-WHITEWATER CAMPUS (Whitewater) – Dr. John Baumgardner, Ph.D. in geophysics, for many years a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, will be speaking on the UW-Whitewater campus in Hyland Hall, Room 1000, on Thursday, April 15th at 3:00 p.m. Dr. Baumgardner’s subject will be, “Why Darwin Was Wrong.” Charles Darwin was certainly one of the most influential people of our world over the past few hundred years. Darwin’s diligence in the search for truth is appreciated. However, with the knowledge that we have today, knowledge which he did not have, we see that almost all of his ideas were wrong. Dr. Baumgardner will explain why Darwin was wrong about the complexity of life, the fossil record, the extrapolation from molecules to man, and how gradualism applies to geology.  According to Dr. Baumgardner, “evolutionists do not have a viable mechanism for macroevolution at any stage, whether we’re talking about the origin of a first living cell or the origin of new structures in existing organisms. Natural selection and mutation alone are pitifully inadequate to account for what we see, especially with our current understanding of molecular biology.” Here is a…

Don’t Forget – April 15th TEA Party in Madison!

State Capitol,  Madison Thursday, April 15 11:30 am – 1:00 pm The Rock River Patriots still have seats available on the bus to the Madison TEA Party leaving the K-Mart lot in Fort Atkinson at 8:30 am.   The Bus will leave Madison heading back to Fort Atkinson around 3:30 pm.  This will give people ample time to eat, visit their legislators, and/or sit in on the legislative session.  The cost per person is $10. It is our understanding that the legislators will be in session regarding SB640 and AB895.  They are trying to slip this bill in under the radar.  This bill will make voter fraud even worse, and could lead to the stealing of elections. See the information from the Northwoods Patriots: Protest Scheduled April 13th I encourage everyone to make a sign (no sticks in the building for security) to hold up after the main event in the gallery while they debate this bill.  Let’s make it clear, we don’t want this bill passed.
