Happy Resurrection Day! Remember Christ’s Sacrifice For The World.

Through our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we still have hope, no matter how bad it looks.

Currently, the White House has decided to once again alienate Christians by proclaiming Easter Sunday a “day of trans visibility”.

This is obviously an attack on Christianity and at the most basic foundations of society.  The left has already significantly subverted the family, a basic structure of stability for society.  Now there is a consistent push for sexualizing children with this gender ideology obsession.  This has the goal of taking away anything that is sacred.  It is demonic.

WE ARE NOT ACCIDENTS

In case you were not aware…The world didn’t come into being by a big explosion billions of years ago.  You are not here because of a series of mistakes millions of years ago in which life was somehow created violating every scientific law we know to be true.  Everything did not come from nothing.

On the contrary, you are a unique creation by God with a purpose.  You are not an accident, but someone of significance.  After the Fall of Man, the world changed from it’s perfect state as did Adam and Eve.  Adam and Eve (and us) were created in God’s image, meaning they were eternal.  However they were no longer sinless, meaning they would die.  Because God is just, His plan included a place for the righteous (heaven) and for the wicked (hell) after they die.  Genesis 3 chronicles the Fall and God’s plan of redemption.  While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

The meaning of Easter – What does it mean to you?

The name “Easter” that is used this time of year dates back to the 4th Century.  Historically, Easter is tied to pagan fertility rituals and the fertility goddess “Ishtar”.  Hence the rabbits and eggs are ancient symbols of fertility.

The meaning of Easter that Christians celebrate is Jesus Christ’s victory over death.  We should probably change our terminology to differentiate our values from that of the secular interpretation.  His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.

Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.
