Below are excerpts from Barack Obama’s books. These comments sure seem racist and like Obama wants to be president of the world, not the United States.
From Dreams of My Father: “I ceased to advertise my mother’s race
at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was
ingratiating myself to whites.”
From Dreams of My Father : “I found a solace in nursing a
pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.”
From Dreams of My Father: “There was something about her that made
me wary, a little too sure of herself, maybe and white.”
From Dreams of My Father: “It remained necessary to prove which side
you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and
name names.”
From Dreams of My Father: “I never emulate white men and brown men
whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the
black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in
myself: the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.”
From Audacity of Hope: “I will stand with the _Muslims_ should the
political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
Here is a quote from Cicero, the ancient Roman Philosopher (Thanks Nate for the quote.) regarding enemy within:
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
~ Marcus Tullius Cicero (42BC)
