With the frivolous indictment of former President Donald Trump, we see just how far the main stream media will go to run cover for the Biden administration. Many legal analyst have already stated Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is basically making up a crime to indict Donald Trump. The main stream media has no problem, playing along with this nonsense.
The WI Supreme Court election is another example. The media ran cover for Judge Janet Protasiewicz who has been accused of calling black defendants the “N” word and past abuse of her former husband. There was a virtual media blackout of this story.
Long ago talk radio host Michael Savage stated on the Savage Nation program that the fourth estate has become the fifth column. It is more clearer today than ever before. Our government is obviously a government out of control, and the media is running cover for the government.
Where do we get this phrase fourth estate? The fourth estate is another name for the media, which is supposed to provide another check and balance on the three branches of government. In a functioning system, the media is truly a watchdog on government, exposing corruption, illegal activities, and bad actors. Not so anymore.
Where do we get the term fifth column? The term fifth column dates back to the Spanish Civil War. In October 1936, Nationalist general Emilio Mola declared he had a column of supporters inside the city in addition to the four columns of his army outside the city of Madrid besieging it. This hidden column of troops was referred to as the “fifth column”, working to destroy the the city from the inside.
It is clear that this is what our main stream media is doing. They are running cover for Big Government and have become nothing more than propagandists.
