Even though he was very wrong in signing the Alien and Sedition Acts in 1798, our 2nd President, John Adams, was right when he stated: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Many have asked where the nations pastors are in the fight to take back our country.  The Black Robe Regiment was instrumental in the American Revolution.  So where have the pastors been that our country has gotten in the shape it is in?  Where are they now when they are needed most?  Here is a great article by World Net Daily about this very issue:  Pastors taken to task for political apathy Remember Pastor Martin Niemoller’s verse about the dangers of political apathy?  Niemoller, writing about the apathy that allowed the Nazis  to victimize group after group, put it in very simple terms: They came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. The Southern Wisconsin Patriot Alliance is organizing a Freedom Rally in Janesville on Saturday, October 16, 2010, from Noon to 3 p.m. This is coalition of grassroots Wisconsinites with a mission to Unite, Educate, and Mobilize citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Constitutionally-Limited Government, Fiscal Responsibility, and Free Market Principles. An exciting list of speakers has been scheduled and food vendors will be available. Any and all candidates for the November mid-term elections are invited to the Freedom Rally. This is an opportunity for those candidates to share their vision for Wisconsin and for citizens to voice their concerns. This Friday September 17th is Constitution Day! A march sponsored by the Wisconsin Friends Of The Constitution will be taking place in downtown Milwaukee for those who are interested in attending.  Constitution Celebration 2010 Poster Even more important is making sure your local public schools teach about the Constitution on this day as is required by law (Public Law 108-447).  Attached is a sample letter to a school you can use/modify to suit your needs.  The Overview of America videos can be downloaded from YouTube and are an excellent resource that have been used by many schools on Constitution Day. On Thursday September 16th at 12:00 noon, Judge Randy Koschnick will be speaking at the capitol about the Wisconsin Constitution and the U.S. Constitution.  Call everyone you know and get them to Madison for this important event. We will be having a meeting on Friday September 10th at 6pm in Jefferson at Kendall Packaging, 707 N Parkway Street. We will continue to discuss the sustainable development issue and how it relates to the UN Agenda 21. We will also hear from our friends who attended the 8/28 DC Rally, discuss the upcoming primary election candidates, and talk about other current issues, plans, and events.
