Rock River Patriots Meeting This Friday January 27th

The Rock River Patriots invite you to our meeting this Friday January 27th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson.  The meeting will be held in the community room of the Dwight Foster Library located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting we welcome former WI Congressman and U.S. Senate Candidate Mark Neumann to speak and answer questions from our group about his candidacy and issues facing America.  Hope to see you there!

Rock River Patriots Meeting This Friday December 9th

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday December 9th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library in Fort Atkinson.  The Dwight Foster Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue. At this meeting, we will have our “year in review” discussing some of our accomplishments this year.  We also welcome State Senator Frank Lasee to talk about his candidacy for U.S. Senate.  This will be the last meeting of they year, and should not to be missed. Rock River Patriots Meeting This Friday July 9th

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday July 9th at 6:00pm in Jefferson at Kendall Packaging.  Kendall Packaging is located at 707 N. Parkway Street. At this meeting we will discuss current events and issues of importance.  We welcome back Rob Taylor of the Constitution Party for a candidate forum.  Rob is running for U.S. Senate for the Constitution Party. Ron Johnson Postpones Tea Party Sessions

Our vetting session was written about in the latest Milwaukee Journal newspaper.  Here is the link to the story: Ron Johnson postpones tea party sessions I think it is important to comment on several issues.  We are quoted in the story as being “constitutional purists”.  That means we want the government to follow the Constitution.  The Founding Fathers witnessed government tyranny firsthand, and devised a way to prevent it from happening again.  One of the reasons our country is in the shape it is in, is because our elected officials do not know or follow the Constitution. Many people complain about massive federal government spending and debt.  What they fail to realize is that most of these agencies with these huge budgets are unconstitutional.  They are better handled at the state or local level! We are also quoted in the story stating we want more detail on issues.  That comment was in part because we had a lot more questions to ask, understanding the Johnson campaign has only a limited amount of time.  However, specific answers are important.  All too often we hear politicians speak in generalities so they are not “pinned down” on any particular issue. Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday March 26th

On Friday March 26th, we will be having a meeting in Jefferson at Kendall Packaging at 6pm.  Kendall Packaging is located at 707 N. Parkway Street in Jefferson.  We will discuss upcoming events and issues of importance. We will also be having a Candidate Forum with Evan Wynn.  Evan Wynn is running against Kim Hixon for the 43rd State Assembly  District, part of which encompasses the city of Whitewater. We are also planning for the big TEA Party in Madison on April 15th.  We want to arrange bus transportation back and forth to the TEA Party, but need at least 50 people to commit to making the trip .  The cost will be $10.00 provided we have enough people.  I would like to hear back by this Friday’s meeting so we can reserve a bus or buses.
