We will resume our normal meetings again in June.  On June 8th, we will discuss the election results, and view the documentary by the 10th Amendment Center, “Nullification”.  On June 22nd, we plan on welcoming back “J.C.” to conclude his presentation on Islam.  If you missed the first session, come to this one.  We will review the first presentation briefly, and the continue on with new material.

The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Daily Jefferson County Union
and WFAW are co-hosting a candidates forum for the June 5th Recall Election for the State
Senate District 13 seat.

The forum will be held in the Jefferson High School Gym on Wednesday May 23rd at 7:00 p.m.

Candidates will be allowed three minutes for opening remarks and three minutes for closing
remarks. The rest of the time will be given to candidates to answer questions sent by May 21st
to the Daily Jefferson County Union, Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, and WFAW, from
readers, listeners and the audience at the forum.  If you have a question, send it in!

The event will be covered by The Daily Jefferson County Union and broadcast live on 940AM
WFAW.

For example, if you choose to vote for Gov. Walker in the Republican recall primary, you may still vote in the Democrat primary for the recall candidate or their “fake” democrat opponents.  The “fake” democrat candidates for this area are Gary Ellerman, from Lake Mills, running against Lori Compass, who is the recall organizer for Sen. Scott Fitzgerald.  The “fake” democrat for the Lt. Governor recall primary is Issac Weix, running against Madison Firefighter’s Union president Mahlon Mitchel and Democrat Ira Robins.

The winners from this primary will move on to the general election June 5th.

The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting on Friday May 11th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library.  We will meet in the community room.  The library is located at 209 Merchants Ave in Fort Atkinson.

At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives.  We also welcome Chad Kent to speak about the Constitution.  Chad has been a regular speaker at TEA party events in southern WI and northern Illinois.  He can be found online at chadkentspeaks.com.

This bill has passed the U.S. Senate and maybe voted on by the U.S. House of Representatives this Friday.  Contact your congressional representatives and tell them to vote “NO” on  bill S. 1813.

Congress Set to Invade Your Privacy Again

On Thursday, Congress is scheduled to begin consideration of H.R. 3523, the “Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011″ (CISPA). This bill is the next great threat to our privacy over the Internet, but unlike the fight against SOPA and PIPA, Internet giants like Facebook and Twitter are openly supporting CISPA.  Contact your congressional representatives and tell them to vote “NO” on H.R. 3523.

Author and speaker “J.C.” was born in Kurdistan, in northern Iraq. As a child, he witnessed the violence of the government of Baghdad practiced against his people when his elder brother’s lifeless body was brought back to his parents. His experience with socialist dictatorship formed his political conscience. During the Gulf War, “J.C.” was forced to flee Iraq not once, but twice and eventually came to America as a political asylee.

“J.C.” grew up as a Muslim, adhering to the practices of the Sunni division of Islam. The teachings of Islam influenced and molded his theological thinking, but never took a hold of his spirit. Hence, as a teenager he began searching for an answer to the eternal questions of life. “J. C.” lost his faith in religion and metaphysical answers after reading the “Theory of Evolution,” by Charles Darwin.

In the late 90′s, through Operation Safe Haven on the part of the US government, “J.C” was among a group of 4000 Kurds who were airlifted to Guam and then to the U.S.A. Here he was exposed to the teachings of Christianity, and his life was radically changed. Now, he speaks and writes about his experience coming out of the Middle East and about the teachings of Islam compared to Christianity.  In the past five years, “J.C.” has spoken at hundreds of rallies, conferences, private groups and clubs.

Recently, he authored his memoir. The book is titled “Miracles In The Mountains.”  “Miracles In The Mountains,” is a story of tragedy, hardship, coercion, suffering, compassion, endurance, and a search for the meaning of the truth, as well as forbidden romance.

This bill was signed in secret by the President in March of 2012.  When we say we have all of the pieces in place for a “turn-key dictatorship”, this is further proof.  Have we become a third world nation where despots control what is seen and heard?

All of the WI Congressional Reps voted for this bill.  The U.S. Senate passed the bill by unanimous consent, so there is no record of how they voted on it.  However, all it would have took was for a Senator to object and ask for a roll call vote.

This is disgraceful!!!

At this meeting we will discuss current events, issues, and initiatives.  We will discuss the recent election results and listen to a brief presentation on the “Turn-Key Dictatorship” that is appearing all around us.  This will be a meeting with a lot of information and should not be missed.

The time has come once again to draw your line in the sand.  Will you stand with the taxpayers of your state and county or will you stand with those in the special interest “mob”?  Will you stand with those who believe in fiscal sanity or unlimited government spending?  Will you stand with those who believe in the rule of law or will you stand with the government worker mob who gladly stand in solidarity with communists and socialists?

It is your time to choose.  I encourage you to vote for responsibility and fiscal sanity in government.  An “litmus-test” question to ask is whether or not the candidates on your ballot signed a recall petition.  That gives a reasonable indication of where their loyalties lie.
