BLACK AND BLUE AMERICA

Below is a column by Gary Mienert, re-posted with permission.  Gary has been documenting the conditions along the United States southern border with Mexico for a very long time.  In this column, Gary talks about the situation facing America’s law enforcement officers since the situation in Ferguson, MO with thug Michael Brown. Black and Blue America by Gary Mienert On August 9, 2014 Michael Brown, a black 289 pound 18 year old, was fatally shot by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer after Brown robbed a convenience store. Every American who reads newspapers or watches television knows the Michael Brown drama. During the same year 126 police officers in the United States were killed.  Can you name one? From the outset the evidence was convincing that the officer had every reason to use deadly force to stop this well known thug.  Witnesses, both black and white, confirmed that Brown refused to obey every order given to him by the officer up to the end when he attempted to grab the officer’s weapon.  Brown is still venerated as a martyr primarily by the black community.  How could this happen? Although numerous state and local agencies were well underway into their investigations, Obama…

Letter To The Editor On Gun Control From One Of Our Members

Letter to the Editor, The main stream media, internet and talk radio is a buzz with the new “proposal” of “our government” to violate our 2nd Amendment God given rights. Australia, is living proof of what happens when guns are forcibly removed from private ownership. Since the institution of their 1996 gun laws, armed robberies are  up 69%; assaults with guns up 28%; gun murders up 19% and home invasions up 21%. Hmm…how can gun murders be up when guns are illegal to own???? According to Reality Check , Gun statistics are: The US has the highest gun ownership in the world, average of 88 guns per 100 residents. This places us first in the world for gun ownership and  #28 in gun homicide. What about crime statistics in Great Britain? Britain is also the most violent country in the EU, that is 2034 violent crimes per 100,000  The UK has the second highest overall crime rate in the EU. UK has the fifth highest robbery rate and the fourth highest burglary rate. Compare that to the US with 466 violent crimes per 100,000 people. There is an interesting video revealing the statistics from the FBI which is an unbiased…

An Open Letter To Our Absent AG Van Hollen

This follow is a letter from one of our members, sent on December 21st,  to the absent Wisconsin AG Van Hollen: Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, I am a disgruntled supporter. Today I received a letter from your campaign staff requesting a contribution. I have voted for and supported you in the past. Over the course of this tumultuous year I have inquired from time to time why I have not seen nor heard of you commenting on some of the more obscene activities of those opposing Gov. Walker, especially the attacks on legislators, the death threats etc. The Dane County judicial system  is incredibly biased. Why have you not expressed at least some level of concern? I am a member of the Rock River Patriots. Questions about your whereabouts have become more commonplace. Members who regularly conduct business at the Capitol indicate they are unaware of your  role or level of support. The last two days, Charlie Sykes and Jeff Wagner have begun to refer to you as an “empty suit.” Your silence has become noticeable. Please tell me why you deserve support and contributions.  Thanks for listening.  Larry Cole
