Commentary On The Conneticut Mass Shooting

Below is a video with some thoughts from “Nutnfancy” that echos much of what we think.  Nutnfacy is a retired Lt. Col. in the US Air Force pilot and has channel on YouTube where he gives independent reviews on different guns and gear. We very much believe that Sheriff Joe Arpaio has it right by calling up his posse to patrol schools.  There is no need to enlarge government to do a job that trained civilians/parents can do.  Possibly in a later post, I will give more details on why this is a good idea. Happy New Year

The Rock River Patriots want to wish you and your family a very happy New Year.  We are in the process of determining our goals and plans for the next year.  We ask for your thoughts and prayers as we look to do what God wants us to do in these coming days.  We will continue to try to educate people on all that is happening.  We are looking to see how we can best accomplish that goal. In the end, if we can only accomplish one thing, we hope that all the information and educational materials brings people into a knowledge and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  As we had stated in our Merry Christmas wishes…The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7

Merry Christmas

The Rock River Patriots want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.  With all that has happened is easy to be discouraged at the state of affairs we find ourselves in. Sometimes it takes a holiday like Christmas to renew our focus on what is important. Christmas is a time Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Long ago I realized how imperfect I am and that I truly need a Savior.  The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.  Bible also says that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ I encourage you to seek that relationship. For those of you that have a relationship with Jesus Christ, I encourage you to seek His guidance through the new year.  Only with His guidance can we make it through the perilous times that we are living in.   Just a reminder…There is NO Rock River Patriots meeting this Friday.

Rock River Patriots Meeting Friday December 14th

An early Merry Christmas to all. The Rock River Patriots will be having a meeting this Friday December 14th at 6pm in Fort Atkinson at the Dwight Foster Library located at 209 Merchants Avenue. This is the only meeting we will have in December.  At this meeting we will discuss current events and initiatives.  We will discuss the spring elections and more.  We have a lot of information to cover at this meeting and have at least one featured guest. We should have the DVD from Oconomowoc featuring Beverly Eakman talking about the playbook of the left and countering group manipulation. Those who are looking to get involved should consider running for school board.  We would like to see several Patriots on the ballot for each of the school districts in Jefferson County.  Remember, half of your taxes go to your local school district, so you have a vested interest in fiscal responsibility.  The deadline for filing is January 2nd.

Federal Judge OKs Installation of Surveillance Cameras Without a Warrant

I guess private property isn’t really private after-all.  This is the epitome of BIG BROTHER!!!  This stems from another drug case, which along with “terrorism” cases seem to take our constitutional protections and throw them out the window. Federal Judge OKs Installation of Surveillance Cameras Without a Warrant On October 29, a federal district court judge ruled that police can enter onto privately owned property and install secret surveillance cameras without a warrant. The judge did set forth a few guidelines that must be followed before such activity would be permissible, but the fact that such a scenario is accepted as constitutional by a federal judge is a serious setback for privacy and for the Fourth Amendment. The Fourth Amendment guarantees: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. link to full article
